Our company has been serving the pipe and steel industry since 1987 with our patented Tally-Rite Measuring Systems, a unique product for counting, and measuring pipe.  Our management has more than 100 years of collective experience in the procurement, inspection, storage, transportation and movement of OCTG materials.

Our roots are in the oil and gas industry. For many years we were involved with a large, independently owned, OCTG pipe inspection company. When our president was running a pipe inspection facility in Odessa, Texas he had to deal with some of the very same issues and problems of running an efficient (profitable) operation as you do today.

One of the most expensive pieces of operational "dead weight" is the simple task of tallying pipe. From his hands-on experience his simple idea became our first Tally-Rite Measuring unit. It was big, crude, and heavy. The hand held computer had to be built from basic electronic parts (remember the PC had just come to the market... Microsoft had not even released version 1.0 of Windows yet). With extensive field testing and constant input from our management, through the early days, we succeeded in producing the first practical, commercial solution to help with the age old problem of tallying pipe.

Over time, our engineers and designers have continued to modify the physical envelope and "tweak" the software for continued customer satisfaction. it has been simplified, made smaller, and much lighter with significantly improved computer capacity. New features have been developed to keep the products on par with your customer's demanding requirements.

PC based Tally management software is available for our customers to store, archive, and manage all their tallies. Today, our patented Tally-Rite systems are being used daily in every major oil and gas region in the United States.
